Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 1 cup ice cubes preferably crushed
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 tsp honey optional for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. Place the hulled and halved strawberries into your blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes directly on top of the strawberries for a frosty texture.
  3. Pour in cold water to help blend everything smoothly.
  4. If desired, drizzle in honey for added sweetness.
  5. Bolt the blender lid securely and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and frosty, about 30-45 seconds. You should hear a consistent whir and see a vibrant, thick red liquid.
  6. Stop the blender and give the slushie a quick stir with a spoon to ensure even texture.
  7. Pour the strawberry slushie into glasses, using a spoon to guide the icy beverage if necessary.
  8. Enjoy immediately to experience the refreshing, icy texture and bursting strawberry flavor.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, omit or substitute honey with agave syrup. Adjust sweetness to taste.
